New Sun Rising

Since 2005, New Sun Rising has supported 350+ nonprofits, social enterprises, and funders to invest $14+ million in projects that develop vibrant communities across 50 neighborhoods in the Greater Pittsburgh region.

We envision a vibrant and equitable future where communities are sustainable and have access to the resources necessary to thrive. 

Our mission is to collaborate with communities to build capacity, access funding, and embrace data-informed approaches towards their own vibrant future.
