I have been creating calligraphy since 1981 and teaching calligraphy and related arts since 1991 out of an in-home studio. 

In 1987 some dear friends were willing to put a newbie calligrapher to work on their wedding invitations. Since then, I have created envelopes (too many to count), place cards, invitations, and other calligraphic favors for special occasions.
