Jay Constable

Jay has been playing music since age 8. Starting out on trumpet to follow in the footsteps of his father {Pittsburgh jazz hall of famer, Danny Conn}, he realized his passion was with the drums.

The switch to drums also allowed him to gig with his father, who would employ him on many adventurous gigs, playing jazz, weddings, oldies, political fundraisers, and even with a circus band. Jay would also become the drummer for a Caribbean Steelband, a Brazilian Carnivale band, and various local rock, jazz, and wedding bands, even appearing on “America’s Got Talent.”
