Isaac Bower is a visual artist with a BFA in sculpture from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, and an MFA in sculpture from West Virginia University. He specializes in cojiform.
Cojiform combines the beauty of abstract art, the playfulness of building blocks, and the challenge of a puzzle. It shares a collective dynamic with traditions like origami or quilting: participants can invent new modules and methods that expand the catalogue of Cojiform designs.
All Cojiform exhibits, workshops, and pop ups are centered upon kits of the interactive Cojiform sculpture parts. Kits sizes are customized to meet the needs of each situation, with differing quantities of the three Cojiform shapes called L, Y, and S.
Team leaders, museum staff, educators, librarians, and others can create their own activities with support materials (provided on request) such as prompts, challenges, and other structured activities.
