Home Run Pictures

Home Run Pictures is an animation and visual effects studio based in Pittsburgh.

The company was founded in 1991 by Tom Casey who is the president and creative director. The studio creates visual sequences using various digital hardware and software. Autodesk Maya, the same software used by many Hollywood special effects firms is the main application used in the production pipeline.

Content has been created for television programming, commercials, corporate video, virtual reality and interactive formats.

We also have extensive experience with science, technical and educational visualizations. Because of this, past clients have included broadcast content for PBS, Discovery Channel, Learning Channel, Science Channel, National Geographic Television and scientific visualizations for NASA.
