Heinz Hall

The 2,676 seat Heinz Hall is home to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, which was founded in 1895

Originally built in 1927 as Loew’s Penn Theatre, the former movie palace was renovated and reopened as Heinz Hall in 1971. It is named in honor of businessman and philanthropist Henry “Jack” Heinz III (1908-1987).
