The Olin Fine Arts Center is the exhibit, performance, office and classroom facility of Washington & Jefferson College.
Founded by a trio of ministers in 1802, Washington & Jefferson College is an academic institution in rural Washington County. The college’s academic emphasis is on the liberal arts and the sciences, with a focus on preparing students for graduate and professional schools.
Most of the center’s funding came from a foundation established in 1938 by engineer and businessman Franklin W. Olin (1860-1951).
