Brenna Slate (a.k.a. Lounna)

Born and raised in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, songwriter and producer Brenna Slate invented her musical project Lounna out of a love for storytelling.

Known for her signature blend of indie folk, rock, and Americana, Lounna has cultivated a sound that she dubs “dreamy cottagerock” — a unique genre that evokes a sense of warm nostalgia with powerful, personal lyrics and themes of grief, healing and living life intentionally.
